How Wist works

2. View your memory in mobile AR on iPhone; in AR or VR on Meta Quest 2, Quest Pro, and Quest 3; or in AR on Apple Vision Pro.

Timeline

2021

• May: Andrew left his role as an AR/VR Team Lead and Senior Designer at Samsung to explore ideas around 3D memory capture and playback. He built mobile and VR prototypes.
• Late 2021: Branded as “Vivid”. Started building towards first alphas.

2022

• March 24: First mobile alpha on iOS (TestFlight). Continued iOS iteration, demos + feedback. Started cofounder search.
